I believe he is scared to coach at a place that does not provide the standard of excuses that ND provides him. It is only good if he takes Jack with him. They have expectations there, so he won’t go. “He’s been floated as a potential NFL candidate in the past” like a turd in the bowl.
After ten years kelly still doesn’t understand his job. He has shot his mouth off several times this season almost poking the bear, so to speak, and yet no one at Notre Dame has a word to say to him. B-b-but Navy was RANKED! They are a pissant program.
ND could be a top 10 defense in points against and I wouldn’t find that impressive having given up 30+ points in the three biggest games. Classic Kelly to be patting himself on the back. 2015 and 2017 were definitely coaching malpractice. That’s really all you need to know about Brian Kelly and his offense. it sucks but we all know that. It’s beyond time to dump them both.

Quenton Nelson used as a FB. Seems a bit too cute for my liking. But Kelly doesn’t use a fullback. The days of Anthony Johnson, Zellers, Bettis, Moriarty, Mark Brooks, Edwards, Banks, Culver were good ones.
ND-Stanford gets 6-day hold — 3 potential networks. I’m furious that it’s even a possibility. If ND-Stanford ends up on Pac-12 Network, Swarbrick should be instantaneously fired. I expected a line like, “Naturally, Notre Dame’s contract with Stanford prohibits their game from being shunted off to the Pac-12 Network.” But no, Swarby has not taken that precaution.
I haven’t been to a game in a decade. I often find it hard to watch on tv. Rudy always makes me sad. It makes me want to weep. No team would be seriously intimidated today playing at ND. No “Welcome to Notre Dame” or any such shit whatsoever back then. Kelly couldn’t inspire a cockroach to walk across the kitchen floor.
